The story starts off slow, but seriously what do you say about a guy living alone, but by chapter 8 it really picks up when Ian heads off to China and meets Maya, a troubled girl in an abusive marriage. But I have followed all the guidelines set out for the challenge during actual game play time.

If you get a chance to read the story, you will see I have packed a lot of story into the short time periods given and it has been a lot of fun. Babies and toddlers age up in more real life time periods instead of 3-7 days. A semester of university is not finished in a week or two but three to four months as in real life. I've stretched time lines in my story asking readers to place Sims in real life time frames. So Ian, who is my first sim, chose to go there after the tragic death of his parents. For example, in the challenge we are to believe our sim was on a boat that sank, but then how do we leave to find a mate. For the blog story I have stretched things a bit to make it more interesting and realistic.
